Rabbi Jill Cozen Harel has been teaching in the Jewish community for 15 years. In addition to her rabbinic ordination at HUC-JIR, she has learned at the Jewish Theological Seminary, the Conservative Yeshiva, and the Shalom Hartman Institute. She also holds a BA in cognitive science from UC Berkeley. Jill has served schools and congregations. She spent several years as a chaplain at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco and is a volunteer chaplain for the San Francisco Sheriff's Department. Jill has led trips to Israel, Ghana, New Orleans for Birthright Israel, American Jewish World Service, and Jewish Funds for Justice.
