Nik Wolfson

Dr. Nik Wolfson is an orthopedic surgeon in San Francisco. Born in Bobruisk, Belarus, he immigrated to Israel in 1976. After graduating from the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel, Nik served in the IDF as a medical officer in a paratroopers battalion for two years during first Lebanon war and two years in the navy as a medical officer in the submarine flotilla. Dr. Wolfson is an expert in military and mass casualty trauma and has volunteered his orthopedic surgery expertise in response to the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, where he served on the US Navy Ship-Hospital Comfort. During the  last war in Israel, Operation Tzuk Eitan, Nik volunteered in the IDF, where he served with the Medical Corps and operated in Sorroka Medical Hospital in Be'er Sheva. He serves on the Disaster Preparedness Committee of California Pacific Medical Center. Nik has recently returned from Nepal, where he was volunteering his medical expertise.
