An original of Limmud Bay Area, Michal is a rabbinic student at AJRCA in LA. She has served Jewish communities locally and internationally in the fields of education, organizational capacity building, and Jewish and Israel programming and events planning. Her areas of specializations are professional development and curriculum design Jewish heritage, Israel, Shoah ‘Peoplehood’, and experiential education. She has led synagogue education, trained teachers, youth leaders, and created a broad range of curricular materials across the Jewish educational spectrum. Michal is deeply concerned about the growing chasm and distancing of our young from engagement with their Jewish legacy, their challenge with connecting with Israel, and with growing unrest within our communities in the fields of lay-professional relationships, employment, organizational representation, and inclusion. Michal is student rabbi at Adat Chaverim, as well as leading an intergenerational program at Sinai Temple. Michal's main work is as a coach with young adults with diverse specialized needs for independent and integrative living.
