We will be reading some primary source documents and utilizing some excerpts from the new book by Dr. Gary Zola, We Called Him Rabbi Abraham: Lincoln and American Jewry, A Documentary History.

Rabbi Larry Raphael has been the senior rabbi at Congregation Sherith Israel since 2003 and has been teaching adults about Judaism and Jews since he was ordained in 1974.
