The purpose of yoga is to quiet the fluctuations of the mind. Through connecting the breath with sequenced movements, we build strength, balance, and flexibility, while cultivating inner stillness. This class focuses on practicing various pose sequences and breath awareness techniques that will help participants feel both revitalized and calm, drawing energy from the earth. The qualities of compassion and inner peace in ourselves that yoga develops, will help us make space for deeper embodiment of the Shema: listening to each other, the community and the planet. Please join me for an inspiring and invigorating practice that unifies body, mind and spirit.
