Marina Eisen

Marina Eisen is a volunteer facilitator for Connected Wisdom, a mother of two Tehiyah Day School students, and has been an active participant in Jewish communities in Fremont, New York and San Francisco. She has a B.A. in Mass Communications & Journalism from New York University, and her diverse background in media studies, marketing, filmmaking, education, counseling, business operations, the arts and volunteering is what drives her passion for helping people find the common ground that can inspire positive social change. Like her husband, Alex, she was born in the former Soviet Union and brought to America as a young child and has explored several different channels of Jewish thought and observance, from a Reform upbringing to being married in the Hasidic tradition on Lag B'Omer. Marina has long been fascinated with the investigation of the ancient roots of the Jewish tribe, Hebrew etymology and Israelite heritage - specifically the ideology behind its innovative social values.
